About the Butler Athletic Booster Club
The Butler Athletic Booster Club is an active partner in the continuing growth of a successful athletic program at David W. Butler High School.
Typically, Booster Club funds are used in conjunction with funds raised by the individual sports teams to provide needed equipment and facility
upgrades.
These activities are funded primarily through membership dues, athletic event concessions, sales of Bulldog clothing / souvenirs, and our annual Golf
Fundraiser. We hope all Butler High School families will join the Butler Athletic Booster Club and support our student athletes.
Funds raised by the
Booster Club are used to:
- Pay for upkeep of athletic fields
- Supply food for concessions
- Host fall, winter and spring sports banquets each year
- Provide two $500 scholarships annually
Recent projects include:
- Purchased state championship rings for women’s softball
- Purchased Gator for training staff
- Spread “chrome rubber” on football field
- Rebuilt baseball backstop and bleacher area
- Installed Walk of Fame
- Refinished basketball floor
- Purchased TV’s & VCR’s for Basketball & Football coaching staffs
- Purchased TV for Basketball Lobby
- Purchased DVD recording system for athletic department
- Purchased horn/whistle system for Basketball
- Purchased mats for cheerleaders
- Purchased scoreboards for baseball and softball fields
Booster Club Scholarships
Each year, the Booster Club awards $500 scholarships to two seniors, one male and one female who have participated in their senior year in any sport.
Interested senior athletes may obtain an application from their counselor.
